Amazon Prime Games is the initiative of the e-commerce giant that offers a large number of free video games to all Amazon Prime subscribers every month. To access the initiative, you only need a currently valid subscription to Amazon Prime, the same one you use for fast delivery on Amazon or to watch series, movies and this year’s Champions League on Prime Video.

This month, it has never been convenient to join the Prime Gaming program before, as the North American giant’s choices are particularly greedy. The full list, announced today after some rumors that have quickly turned out to be very concrete, includes Star Wars: Squads. Squadrons is the latest video game dedicated to the Star Wars saga, made by Motive Studios (the same team that is working on the Dead Space remake). The title is canon, as it has been selected together with LucasFilm, but its peculiarity, more than the story, is represented by the 5v5 multiplayer mode, with fast-paced challenges in iconic settings such as Yavin Prime and Galitan.

Alien: Isolation e Ghostrunner in particular, they are very welcome options for the gaming community. Alien: Isolation is a first-person survival horror from British studio Creative Assembly that focuses on the iconic saga created by James Cameron, while Ghostrunner is a science fiction parkour game. Also worth keeping an eye on are tender dark souls like Blue Fire and, in terms of horror experiences, Song of Horror Complete Edition.

Prime Gaming is just one of the initiatives carried out in the gaming sector by Amazon, and actually one of the most popular precisely because it has no additional cost compared to the regular Prime subscription. The latest of these initiatives is New World which, for the first time and after numerous attempts, is becoming the first real success of the North American company in the sector (although some curiosities have already emerged on the Internet in this regard).

Free games have now become a topic in the world of video games and in this very business in the business, Netflix was also recently launched. While the titles offered by Amazon are only available for PC, however, the ones that Netflix put on the plate, and just arrived in Italy, will be downloaded and played only on Android for now.

Of course, traditional game operators are not left out, and free games also come from Microsoft and Sony. Microsoft just introduced its Games With Gold for October, with which you can redeem four titles at no additional cost to Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscriptions.
