Amazon intends to launch its Amazon Future Engineer initiative for computer science education in India.
According to a job posting on the Amazon website, as seen by TechCrunch, the preliminary investigation for Amazon Future Engineers in India is “currently ongoing.”
The goal of this program is to train students from underrepresented and underserved computer science education communities.

“Amazon Future Engineer is a four-part program, from childhood to career, aimed at motivating and educating thousands of students from at least communities each year to give them a try in computing and coding,” explains The FAQ program at the page.
“Globally, we support young high school students with coding lessons and camps, high school students with a full computer science curriculum, and scholarships and internships,” Amazon said in a job posting.
The Amazon Future Engineer initiative is an important part of Amazon’s $ 50 million investment in computing over the next several years.

The program is currently active in the United States. According to a recent press release, Amazon Future Engineer has more than doubled its reach this year, adding more than 3,000 schools to the program. It now serves more than 5,000 schools and 5,50,000 students in the US.
According to the job posting, the tech giant aims to launch the Amazon Future Engineer program in 2021.
