Aldi Offers: Gaming Laptop, Convertible, and Home Office Laptop

Starting April 28, Aldi will once again have some laptop deals on the shelves (online). In addition to an office model for everyday tasks, there’s also a flexible convertible and a high-performance gaming laptop. What is the difference between the trio of notebooks and what the three devices offer?

Laptops and desktops are always available at attractive prices at the Aldi discount store. For example, a gaming computer with a GeForce RTX 3060 Ti graphics card for 1,300 euros (by the way: still available to order!). But towards the end of April, Aldi will offer three new laptops, two of them in branches and one in the online store.

The convertible for €599 – Medion Akoya S14406

The flexible hinge makes it possible. 14 inch touch screen With Full HD resolution (1,920 x 1,080 pixels) the Medion Akoya S14406 folds back very easily. For example, the laptop can also be used in tablet format at university or school, and the tent mode is particularly suitable for movies.

Inside there is a Intel Core i5-10210U processor with quad cores, up to 4.2 GHz in Turbo and integrated graphics unit. Added to this are 8 gigabytes of DDR4 RAM and a 512-gigabyte PCIe SSD. If desired, you can install a second M.2 SSD and thus expand the storage in no time (max. 1 TB, M.2 2280 format, SATA connection).

Other highlights of the convertible: Illuminated keyboard, high-quality aluminum housing, high-definition audio with two speakers. On the connection side there are, among other things, 2x USB Type-C and a MicroSD card reader. Plus, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, and a 45 watt hour battery up to 8.5 hours of operation on board. Windows 11 Home is pre-installed as the operating system.

Home office laptop for €329 – Medion Akoya E15308

If you are simply looking for a solid laptop for everyday tasks, you should take a closer look at the Medion Akoya E15308. they wait for you 15.6-inch IPS screen with Full HD resolution (1,920 x 1,080 pixels), an AMD 3020e dual-core processor, maximum 2.6 GHz and a Radeon integrated graphics unit and a 45 watt hour battery up to 8 hours of operation.

There are 4 gigabytes of RAM available and one 128 gigabyte SSD on board. A second M.2 SSD can also be installed here for memory expansion (M.2 2280 format, SATA connection). Other features include HD audio with two speakers, Wi-Fi 5, and Bluetooth 4.2. On board are, among other things, USB Type-C, a MicroSD card reader and an HDMI connection. On the software side, Windows 11 Home is preinstalled in S mode, including 1-year subscription to Microsoft 365 Personal.

Gaming laptop for €2,499 – Medion Erazer Beast X20

Let’s now move on to the top model of the trio with decent gaming performance, the Medion Erazer Beast X20. sitting under the hood Intel Core i9-11900H processor (8 cores, 16 threads, max 4.9 GHz Turbo) and one Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 graphics card (16GB GDDR6, max 1605MHz, 165W max graphics power). You can also expect 32 gigabytes of 3200 MHz DDR4 RAM, around 1 terabyte of PCIe SSD memory, and a 91.2 watt-hour battery.

The huge 17.3-inch IPS screen it has a Full HD resolution (1920×1080 pixels), offers a higher refresh rate of 300 Hz and comes with a matte coating. AN RGB keyboard not to be missed, of course, as little as Wi-Fi 6 and an integrated gigabit LAN connection. Among other things, there is “On top”. ray 4, a MicroSD card reader and two Sound Blaster Cinema 6+ tuned speakers. Here, too, Windows 11 Home is already pre-installed as the operating system, you can also use the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate insurance for three months.

All three Medion laptops will be available at Aldi from April 28, but with subtle differences. during that convertible (Medion Akoya S14406) will hit the shelves of all Aldi Nord and Aldi Süd branches for 599 euros, that’s how it should be home office laptop (Medion Akoya E15308) only at Aldi Süd for 329 euros. That game notebook (Medion Erazer Beast X20), on the other hand, should only be available from Aldi’s online store.
