With the latest major update from Animal Crossing New Horizons On November 5, an old friend will come to the island. We are, of course, talking about the barista pigeon. Kofi. The old warrior really intends to be Palomar coffee to open. So now you should also be able to enjoy their excellent coffee in the Animal Crossing Switch version.
It was rumored from the beginning that Kofi with the ACNH update will come. Now the update is here … yes Where is Kofi? Don’t worry, they will find it together. And literally, because Kofi will not be on your island immediately after the update. You have to do a few little things for this. But that’s not so tragic, I promise.
Eugene is the key
As you may have already noticed: Eugen is a very good friend of Kofi. The tired museum owl is a good starting point for you if you want to lure Kofi to your island. He tells you some interesting details and tells you to look for Kofi. Eugen’s plan is to attract more visitors to the museum; he would like to open a cafe for that. Who would be better prepared for this than barista Kofi? To help, Eugen sends him a letter with a portrait of Kofi; arrives the next day.
Eugens Plan:
If you don’t want to wait that long, you can start right away. Just go to the jetty and find another new or old guest. Käpten has docked at the jetty and now offers lively boat trips. You should definitely get involved. If you’ve already talked to Eugen, the old sailor’s tortoise will take you straight to a charming and extremely remote island. Don’t worry, we know this is how horror movies start, but nothing will happen to you.
If you make your way through the wild thicket of the island, it is very likely that you will meet Kofi somewhere. If you don’t have his portrait yet: you can recognize him by his large hat and his dove-like appearance. Talk to him and tell him Eugene sent you. Then you will have done everything necessary. Don’t be surprised Kofi doesn’t rush away full of anticipation, he’s coming.
Since you are on the strange island anyway, grab your shovel and look for the gyro, which is hidden here in a hole in the ground. You will find at least one fragment. You can plant it at home and water it well, and a full gyroid will grow from it.
The captain brings you back to your island. There you sneak into the museum again and talk to Eugen. He is delighted to hear that you have found Kofi. Now all you have to do is wait, because Eugen explains that now he has to rebuild the museum so that Kofi can get his coffee from the museum. This will take a full day. Then it opens the next day.
The Café Taubenschlag will then be located on the first floor of the museum, on the left. Hard to miss, just follow the aroma of freshly brewed coffee.
