Adam Kaciński, co-CEO of CD Projekt, praised Cyberpunk 2077’s performance on the PS4 and Xbox One at the behest of investors.
Speak this Wednesday (and In search of alpha), Kaciński said Cyberpunk 2077Performance on the base PS4 and Xbox One consoles is “surprisingly good for such a huge world.” The CEO further states that the performance of these base consoles is lower than that of the “professional” consoles (PS4 Pro and Xbox One X), but still surprisingly good.
Recently, CD Projekt has released gameplay for PS4. PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox series X Version of Cyberpunk 2077. “We had these extra three weeks and achieved a lot within this last stretch,” continued Kaciński. “Therefore, we believe that games perform well on all platforms. Of course, not all platforms are good, depending on the capabilities of the platform.”
CEO Cyberpunk 2077 delayHas pushed the game back around the world from its November release to next month’s December release. This delay was reportedly due to game performance on the Xbox One and PS4 consoles, but Kaciński’s comments seem to indicate that these performance issues have been resolved.
