Dusseldorf Infrared heaters promise fast, reliable and targeted heat. Interest in the supposed alternative to classical heating is growing enormously these days in the face of high energy prices. “In times of rising petrol prices, infrared heaters are one of the fangs that everyone is looking for,” says Reinhard Loch of the NRW consumer advisory center.
Whether as a mirror, blackboard or behind a Monet, van Gogh or Warhol print: Infrared heaters seem to integrate easily and cleverly into home furnishings and promise targeted and therefore more economical warmth on cold days.

Applications such as infrared heating over the workbench or changing table show that panels were never intended to heat an entire apartment or even a house.
