Microsoft has released a new preview build for Windows 11. Among other things, this allows you to start the task manager again via the taskbar.
With the release of Windows 11, Microsoft made numerous changes to the operating system. Two things in particular were visible at first glance: rounded window corners and a simplified, centered taskbar. With Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 25211 just released, you are now taking another step towards functionality in Windows 10.
User interface updates for Windows 11
By right-clicking on the taskbar in Windows 10 numerous actions can be performed, while in Windows 11 only the corresponding settings can be called here. As of Insider Preview Build 25211, the task manager should also be able to start again, so you don’t have to use the search bar or the corresponding key combination.

In addition to updating the taskbar, for example, there is talk of system tray icons that can be freely arranged. Also, Microsoft has reportedly overhauled the widgets and the task manager now looks a bit different than before.
With a view to further changes, Microsoft intends to prevent future programs that other programs are based on from being uninstalled. For example Steamgames mentioned: Apparently these now need to be removed before Steam. Additionally, the preview build also offers several bug fixes and a revised snipping tool. This should now offer a feature to automatically save screenshots.
