In the last summer months Nintendo revealed the exact release date of Bayonetta 3 for Nintendo Switch on October 28, 2022. At the same time, the Japanese company also announced the future release of a commercial version of Bayonetta which should appear in retail and online from September 30, 2022, which is today. We’re writing the actual release date now, but so far there’s been no sign of the regular retail version of Bayonetta – Nintendo just shared a new update via social media.
Bayonetta is exclusive to My Nintendo Store
In a tweet, Nintendo apologizes for the inconvenience caused by the commercial version and announces that it will probably be available in the first half of October will appear – with a great catch. Instead of the planned release in regular retail and online stores, distribution will now take place exclusively through the My Nintendo Store. Consequently, the physical version of Bayonetta in the coming weeks can only exclusively on My Nintendo Store be acquired. Of course, we will keep you informed as soon as the sale starts there.
What do you think of the change in the distribution plan for the physical version of Bayonetta?
