Chinese smartphone manufacturers are among the leaders when it comes to certain technologies. Typically, companies outbid each other to win customers. This time, however, Huawei, Xiaomi, Oppo and Vivo are working together.
Huawei, Xiaomi, Oppo and Vivo allies in the same charging technology
Huawei, Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo and many other smartphone manufacturers have developed the world’s fastest charging technologies in recent years. For example, while Samsung and Apple are still very slow to charge their phones with Xiaomi’s 120W charging speeds, it can even be found in the middle class. The only problem is that they are not compatible with each other. If you switch from Xiaomi to Huawei, you have to replace all suitable power supplies directly. This should come to an end in the future. That is why these and other Chinese companies have joined for a new fast charging technology (Font at home).
Huawei, Xiaomi, Oppo and Vivo are the best known manufacturers involved there. In the future, all smartphones could use the same protocol and thus be compatible with each other. So if in the future you get a Xiaomi phone with a 120W power supply, you could also reach the high charging speed of a Huawei phone. However, the cooperation has not yet started and should lead to cooperation in certain sections..
Xiaomi will soon even charge smartphones with 200 watts:
Chinese smartphone makers want to work more closely together
It is not the first time that the aforementioned smartphone manufacturers Huawei, Xiaomi, Oppo and Vivo want to implement something together. About two years ago I wanted the four companies are building an alternative to the Google Play Store. So far nothing has come of it. Consequently, we simply have to wait and see what develops when Chinese companies work together on the upload protocol. After all, they are all still competitors and Qualcomm already has a certain charging standard that could be used due to the processors used.
