AMD renews its range of processors for embedded systems: five models of the Ryzen Embedded V3000 series replace the V2000 predecessors. Instead of Zen 2, there is Zen 3 technology, and AMD now integrates the logic for NBase-T Ethernet directly into the CPU: manufacturers can run twice as fast as 10 Gbit/s.
As usual, there are models with four to eight CPU cores, with configurable Thermal Design Power (TDP) ranging from 10 to 54 watts. Level 3 cache is 8 or 16 MB depending on the CPU. Two memory channels are based on DDR5-4800 RAM and there are also 20 PCI Express 4.0 lanes for additional controllers or expansion cards.
First time without GPU
Unlike all other Ryzen Embedded Series However, the V3000 does not have an integrated graphics unit.. Therefore, a separate graphics chip is absolutely necessary for the operation of such systems. It can be a simple 2D GPU for displaying images, like Aspeed’s AST2600, or a full graphics card.

The data most likely speaks of a secondary use of the Rembrandt dies that AMD uses for the Ryzen 6000H and Ryzen 6000U mobile processors. With a GPU disable and low CPU clock rates, the company can sell the junk that isn’t fit for use in laptops. A chip designed specifically for embedded systems would be atypical for AMD.
Rembrandt combines eight CPU cores (called Zen 3+ in marketing, but no deep changes from Zen 3), DDR5 controller, and PCIe 4.0. Pre-processor leaks he also talked about dual 10 Gbit/s Ethernet, which would simply be turned off in laptop CPUs.
