Apple will show the next iPhone in two weeks
In two weeks Apple will show the next generation of the iPhone!
On Wednesday evening (August 24), the American company announced a presentation for September 7 at 7:00 p.m. German time. The theme for the event at the Steve Jobs Theater at the company’s headquarters in Cupertino, California: “Far out.” In all likelihood, the iPhone 14 and Apple Watch Series 8 will be on display there.
According to recent rumors, Apple plans to release four different models this year: the iPhone 14 and a larger iPhone 14 Max, as well as the larger iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max.
Device screens will be slightly larger than before and batteries will last longer, according to reports online. However, experts assume that higher prices can also be expected.
One of the most notable novelties of the iPhone Pro could be the lack of a notch on the screen, something that several analysts predict. Instead, there will be two small cutouts inside the screen, they say. The selfie camera and Face ID facial recognition sensors look through the openings.
The iPhone 14 Pro’s rear camera is said to be getting its biggest overhaul in years: It should be able to take 48-megapixel photos and record videos in 8K resolution.
And that would also be news for Apple: The iPhone 14 Pro is said to be powered by a new A16 processor, while the iPhone 14 is said to contain the same A15 chip as the previous model.
The upcoming Apple Watch Series 8 is said to have built-in a sensor to measure body temperature, among other things, and will also have improved features for sleep analysis.
