With just over a month to go until the expected launch of the next Apple Watch models, the remaining stocks of the currently more expensive variants are apparently empty. The Apple Watch Edition with a titanium case is sometimes difficult to obtain from Apple. This would fit in with previous rumors that a new Pro version of the Apple Watch will replace the Edition models starting in the fall.
In the Apple online store in Germany, the sports bracelet edition is still available in both case sizes (41 and 45 mm) at short notice. The situation is very different for Solo Loop models: the watch is not available in this configuration either in the Apple Store or online. Apple also doesn’t specify typical wait times. this fits to MacRumors reportsthat Edition models are also slowly selling in the US, Canada and Great Britain. In the US, for example, 41mm shells are hardly available anymore.
The Pro-Watch should be able to do that
Instead of the titanium-cased Apple Watch, an Apple Watch Pro is expected to launch in September. It should be larger than the two standard models, which will continue in the Series 8. According to rumors, a more robust watch is expected, which should also be able to cope with extreme sports, for example. The Pro watch should also have a titanium case.
In standard models, meanwhile, a new body temperature sensor was recently read in the Series 8. The internal S8 chip is expected to be largely the same as the S7 in the current Apple Watch Series 7.
