The most important base is a good processor and a powerful graphics card.

If it’s only enough for a few regular rounds of CS:GO, Fortnite, or maybe The Sims 4, you can save big at this point. However, if you’re looking for performance-demanding games like Eldenring or Far Cry 6, you’ll definitely need to use newer versions and spend a bit more.
We recommend investing straight into one of the newer processors so you can also tackle upcoming games that may require a bit more CPU power. In the long run, this is cheaper than having to update over and over again.
The newer versions of the AMD Ryzen series have proven to be particularly effective. Currently, 6 cores are still completely sufficient for gaming, but since games are making a huge leap in terms of progress, we recommend at least an 8-core processor.
The same selection principle should also be applied to the graphics card. If you’re looking for AAA games and want to keep playing for a while and not have to despair when GTA 6 finally comes out, you should definitely invest in a newer model.
Not least: RAM and hard drive space
The best processor and the best graphics card are useless without enough RAM. To understand: 4 GB of working memory, also known as RAM, is enough for simple MS Office work.
To keep up with the gaming world and have the latest games running, you currently need 16 GB of RAM. If you want to protect yourself in the future and have the means, you can also invest in 32 GB of RAM.

Make sure you have enough space for the RAM bars and that the graphics card slot is also compatible with your graphics card. The processor is at the heart of the motherboard. As a general rule, these are always compatible, but a closer look at the description doesn’t hurt.
Housing, ventilation and power supply.
When it comes down to it, beginners in particular don’t take a closer look or pay more attention to a cool design than to whether it’s practical. The important thing about the case is that it offers enough space, just like the motherboard.
The individual components need space and air to breathe. If you don’t have enough space, components can quickly overheat, and if you’re unlucky, the new graphics card will wear out quickly.
Therefore, good cooling is important. However, it does not have to be an expensive water cooling system, especially since the risk of leaks is still present. If the case only has a fan, it is useless. By now you should already have about four well placed fans in the case.
Last but not least, we need power for our gaming PC, which requires a power supply. For a non-gaming PC, a power supply with about 250-300 watts of power is sufficient. But since a dedicated graphics card, which is needed for gaming, needs a lot of power, it needs about 1000 watts of power for a gaming PC.
