Installation note

load first

download the installation file
and then start the installation. Click “Register Now” and enter your name, email address and country of residence in the next window. Click “Submit”. If you don’t have an Ascomp account yet, you will receive a link to your (new) client menu by email. There you will find your customer number and the download link, you will receive your access data by email. If you already have a customer account, please register using the link in the email and download the program. If you don’t receive an email (not even in your spam folder), use a different email address to sign up. Close the window from the beginning and start the installer. Select the installation language, click Next, accept the license agreement, and select Next, Install, and Finish. When you start for the first time, enter your customer number and click “Activate” Done!

Information about the free full version of Ascomp Text-R 2.0

With Ascomp’s Text-R 2.0 for Windows 7, 8, 8.1, 10 and 11, PDF text passages and images can be recognized and saved as RTF or TXT documents for further processing. In the settings there are also several options that optimize recognition.
