Electricity is more expensive than ever, millions of Germans can hardly afford it, companies go bankrupt, families are left in the dark. Never before has there been a situation in our country where citizens can no longer pay for their electricity! And it shouldn’t stay that way.
Of course we have to get away from oil, coal and gas. Key word: climate change! Greens all over the world going back to burning more coal is a joke!
But even renewable energies are not enough. Anyone who has ever seen how a wind turbine is built on the ground and how short its lifespan is knows: it is not environmentally friendly!
The solution to this is nuclear power. The word sounds ugly in Germany. Many think of Chernobyl, all children are told at school: Atoms are evil! The fairy tale of the Greens, who regularly act as if a nuclear power plant has exploded in Fukushima, is also terrifying.
All the nonsense: In fact, people in Japan died in a natural disaster at the time, in a flood that also damaged a nuclear power plant. The nuclear phase-out in Germany was a knee-jerk reaction and a catastrophic mistake by Angela Merkel!
The truth is: nuclear power not only produces the cheapest electricity, but also the safest! Statistically, lignite is up to 400 times more deadly than nuclear power, depending on how you calculate it.
Until we get everything under control and optimized, there is no way to avoid nuclear power. New types of nuclear power plants are safer than ever. Many other countries are building them right now. Germany should do the same.
