Paint, Notepad, Photos, Media Player, Snipping Tool, Calculator, Voice Recorder and Alarm & Clock: Microsoft has given almost all the apps and tools included in Windows 11, the so-called built-in apps, a new coat of paint that reflects the new and further emphasize the consistent UX design of the operating system.

New apps for Insiders in preparation
Therefore, adjustments to apps regarding the release of the Fall 2022 Update, also known as Windows 11 22H2 (“Sun Valley 2”), should be complete for now. However, Microsoft is already promising to prepare new apps with a consistent design for participants in the Windows 11 insider program.
With the first feature update since the release of Windows 11, the user interface will also be adapted a bit again. In the future, the desktop will use its own image database by default Windows Featuredwhich in turn is powered by the Bing search engine.
