Taiwanese memory manufacturer G.Skill introduces a RAM specification for DDR5-5600 with extremely low latency. Memory kits come in 2 x 32 GiByte and 2 x 16 GiByte versions and should offer timings of 28-34-34-89, which would break the 30 latency barrier.
G.Skill always strives to offer their RAM kits with extremely low latencies. For example, the manufacturer offers RAM modules in the specification DDR5-5200 with low latency, which are supposed to offer the times 28-34-34-83. G.Skill has now announced that it will break the CL30 barrier in its memory kits with the DDR5-5200 specification. These should come with “extremely low latencies” around the times 28-34-34-89. G.Skill claims that with CL28, this memory specification sets new standards for low-latency timing performance and ushers in a new era of high-end memory.
64 and 32 GiB RAM modules available from the end of May
Such memory kits with corresponding specification should be available in 2 x 32 GiByte and 2 x 16 GiByte versions for G.Skills Trident Z5 RGB, Trident Z5 and Ripjaws S5 series. AN Screenshot, which shows that the RAM modules have been validated with extremely low latencies for Intel’s Alder Lake platforms, is also supplied by the manufacturer. It is said that an Intel Core i7-12700K processor and an Asus ROG Maximus Z690 Hero motherboard were used for this.

Regarding availability, G.Skill states that the Trident Z5 RGB, Trident Z5 and Ripjaws S5 series memory kits will be available from the end of May 2022 through the company’s global distribution partners. Detailed pricing will be announced later. In April we reported that G.Skill had released memory modules with timings 34-40-40-105 for the DDR5-6600 specification.
