Vodafone: Disruption throughout Germany in the mobile network

Date:

Today there were interruptions in the Vodafone network throughout Germany. The company confirmed this on its website. The restrictions have already ended.

There have been national restrictions on the Vodafone mobile network. The reporting portal Alle riots.de showed a sharp increase in the number of riot reports until noon. The number of reports had increased tenfold compared to the normal situation.

Problems in Vodafone itself were also pointed out on the support page. In the Vodafone forum, a new last-minute message was created entitled “2G/4G Mobile Telephony nationwide” in the field of interruptions. In the article, Vodafone writes that there are specific restrictions on telephony.

Vodafone writes on Twitter that technicians are already working to solve the problem and gives advice that can help solve reception problems.

Activate airplane mode

Users can turn flight mode on and off on their smartphone using system shortcuts. On most Android devices, swipe down from the top of the screen to get a menu of important quick settings. Flight mode (usually marked with an airplane symbol) is usually hidden. Here, the menu needs to be dragged further down with your finger to expand it, or you need to swipe left or right to another menu panel.
