Pokémon GO: Special Research “An Akala Adventure” – All information at a glance
When does the “An Akala Adventure” Special Research start? The “An Akala Adventure” Special Research starts at the same time as the Shadow Jungle event in Pokémon GO. In addition to the special investigation, there is also a limited investigation for the Shadow Jungle event that you can only solve until March 29. The Special Research “An Akala Adventure”, on the other hand, does not have a date by which you must have solved it.
- Begin: Tuesday, March 22 at 10 a.m. local time
You will automatically receive the “An Akala Adventure” Special Research in your Special Research tab and you don’t have to do anything else to get it. This is the second season of Alola Special Research. At the beginning of the season, there was already the special investigation “A Mele Mele Adventure”, which introduced the first island of Pokémon Sun and Moon. In An Akala Adventure, Trainers now learn more about the second island from the main game and the new raid boss, Kapu Fala.
How many tasks are there? The Special Research “An Akala Adventure” has exactly twelve tasks that you need to solve in Pokémon GO. The twelve tasks are divided into four steps. To progress, you must always collect the rewards of one step to unlock the next. Below we list all the tasks and the respective rewards. Pokémon marked with a star can also be caught as Shiny.
