Better than the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra: Oppo Find X5 Pro in the test

Date:

The 6.7-inch OLED screen scored very well in the test and was even the leading screen on our best list at the time of testing. With a WQHD+ resolution of 3216 x 1440 pixels, it offers a very high pixel density of 523 ppi, so Find X5 Pro presents sharp content at all times.

The Oppo Find X5 Pro’s color reproduction is at a high-end level: in the lab, we not only measured 155 percent coverage of the standard RGB color space, but also full representation of the DCI-P3 color space. extended. This is particularly important when playing HDR content.

Peak brightness is also great: we measured a very good 950 candelas per square meter. The checkerboard contrast is a good 153:1 with no ambient light. The contrast measurement in ambient light scores a very good value of 66:1. This means that the Oppo Find X5 Pro screen can always be easily read, even in difficult lighting conditions or in direct sunlight.

The white representation is neutral white and the screen has an adaptive refresh rate between 120 and 1 Hertz. When browsing the e-book and looking at photos, it is only 1 Hertz, while it is possible to play games and scroll up to 120 Hertz. This allows for seamless browsing and gaming when you need it. If not, you save a lot of battery, at least in theory.
