Apple’s next iPhone, the iPhone 14, will come with a radically revamped design compared to the iPhone 13. More specifically, the report talks about a complete redesign. The company just unveiled the official iPhone 13, but that hasn’t stopped rumors about Apple’s next family of devices.
In the Bloomberg Power On newsletter, Mark Gurman states that the new entry-level and Pro models to be announced in 2022 will radically change their design. To justify this change, Gurman points out that the small changes we had to the iPhone 13 are a clear sign that the company is working on something much bigger that takes a long time.
Such a big change will be the number of devices initially, and Gurman emphasized that the mini model will not survive for another year. Instead, Apple will offer a full-size iPhone, a Max-size version, and the usual two Pro models.
Gurman’s comments come shortly after the initial renders that saw the light of day for an iPhone 14 model, which will lack the notch and camera bump of its design. Although one render pointed in the direction of using the hole for the front camera, another rumor at the same time claimed that elements of the TrueDepth design would be used under the display technology to hide from view.
