THQ Nordic Anniversary Showcase: 6 New Games Introduced

THQ Nordics’ first digital exhibition for the 10th anniversary, which took place today, September 17, has just ended. Among other things, six new games were revealed.

Destroy all humans! 2 – Failed

That’s right, Earthlings, Crypto is back and this time the invasion of the “Swinging Sixties” begins. After the KGB blows up the mothership, Crypto seeks revenge and hunts down its adversaries in the United States, Britain, the Soviet Union, Japan, and even on the moon! Destroy all humans! 2 – Reprobed is a complete remake of the original game. The game will be completely rebuilt in Unreal Engine 4 and will receive some new and revised features. Destroy all humans! 2 – Reprobed is being developed by Black Forest Games, who were already responsible for the successful restart of the brand in 2020. The game is currently in development for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series S / X.

Spongebob Squarepants: The Cosmic Shake

In the vast expanses of the cosmos, anything is possible … there may even be a reality in which mayonnaise is not an instrument! When the mysterious fortune teller Kassandra grants SpongeBob and Patrick wishes, the two friends accidentally open portals to the mysterious world of dreams. Everything is FUN until your friends disappear in the portals! Explore seven different worlds and dive into over 30 cosmic skins to save the universe in: SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake. Currently in development for PC, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One.

Outcast 2 – A New Beginning

The friendly neighborhood invader hunter is back: Cutter Slade returns to the spectacular alien world of Adelpha in Outcast 2- A New Beginning. Twenty years after the events of the first game, Adelpha is now threatened by invaders: an infamous army of robots is blowing up the planet, enslaving its inhabitants and even walking on corpses. Cutter’s mission is clear: he has to organize a resistance, save the residents, and give the invaders a powerful kick! Outcast 2 is being developed by the original team behind Outcast’s first adventure, Appeal Studios from Belgium. The open-world action-adventure offers fast-paced third-person battles and a non-linear science-fantasy story with dynamic plot development based on player actions. Outcast 2 – A New Beginning is currently in development for PC, Xbox Series S / X, and PS5.

Jagged Alliance 3

Fans have been waiting for a real third part of the legendary Jagged Alliance series for decades. The strategy experts at Haemimont Games, well known for their work on the Tropico series, Surviving Mars, Victor Vran and many other formidable games, are finally creating a worthy successor to the popular series. Players take command of a mercenary army in the fictional state of Grand Chien. A country plunged into chaos by the seizure of power by a paramilitary organization called “La Legión”. Jagged Alliance 3 combines tactically demanding turn-based battles with the exploration of a large game world and elements of strategy: conquering territories, forming local militias and forming several battle groups of the great squad of charismatic mercenaries, the majority old acquaintances for fans of the Line. Jagged Alliance 3 will also offer RPG elements, so the mercenaries will have special properties, level up by gaining experience, you can “loot” and adapt your arsenal to your liking. MX vs. ATV: Legends

The MX vs. ATV franchise is set to debut on the PS5 and Xbox Series X consoles | S. With the most extensive career mode ever, MX vs ATV Legends invites players to make their own way to the podium. There are more sponsors and special events to choose from than ever. And in the new “Trails” mode, you compare yourself to the forces of nature.

ELEX 2

Expeditions: Rome
