InnoGames, the largest German developer and publisher of online and mobile games, announces the start of the summer event at the world-famous strategy video game Forge of Empires. Starting August 17 and running through September 6, Forge Island once again invites players to join its internationally renowned festival.

Some familiar faces are ready to greet the players: among them the Governor of Forge Island, who will give them access to the “Wheel of Fortune”, and the local pirate Jane. To spin the wheel, players will need Doubloons, which they will earn by completing missions and assignments received by the Governor and Jane. Players will also be able to earn Doubloons by collecting events scattered around the city and as a daily login bonus. A “spin” of the wheel costs a doubloon and awards a prize, while the “upgrade and spin” mode brings a new set of prizes for neighbors. In addition, the wheel traces a path to the Grand Prix. In each round, players will receive a compass to help them move around the map. When they reach the end of the road, a final prize will be waiting for them: a treasure.

The rewards consist of new summer items and buildings from previous events, including the Governor’s Mansion and the Raven’s Nest. This year’s Grand Prix is ​​the Pirate Hideout. Exclusive lair of the most deserving pirates, it is said to be the exchange center for the best treasures in the world. The building, which in turn can be upgraded, provides, among other benefits, coins, population, happiness points and an attack bonus for the player’s army. Chain decorations can be added to the Pirate Hideout, including Shark Waters, Captain’s Anchor, and Fisherman’s Pier. When chained up, these decorations provide a Happiness boost and generous supplies of goods, Forge Points, or a defense boost for the army.

Players will be able to share their progress with friends and neighbors by winning one or two themed avatars.
