In the world of pangrams, that is, of those short sentences with full meaning in which all the letters of the alphabet appear, the aunt and aunt are recurring characters. They have the with and they are made up of just three letters, all different, therefore better than a mosquito, a match, a Zoroastrian, and a tasty eggnog.
We find an aunt Bea (“My aunt Bea is as big as a tawny pachyderm”), amazing aunts (“Hairy pussies and amazing aunts enjoy everywhere”) and an unspecified aunt from Bologna, who is apparently very patient and tolerant: ” Luckily I have that aunt who understands Bologna ”, says the eventual nephew.
Wisely avoiding both body shame and the inappropriate juxtaposition of amazing chicks and hairy pussies, Anonymous printers -which is precisely in Bologna, an especially fertile land for the indulgent sisters of fathers and mothers- has chosen the one related to the Bolognese aunt as a phrase to print in typography for the third issue of 20 grams of pangrams, a little gem for enthusiasts and enthusiasts of typography and language games, to which you can subscribe online to receive each month, in the mailbox, a pangram made in a limited edition on opaline paper using some of the movable type preserved in the printing house (which has more than 1000 typeface families in its drawers).
Two series were used for this third poster, the San gabriele and the From the newsletter, both produced by the Nebiolo Foundry in Turin.
The characters come from three printers: Grevigiana di Greve in Chianti, Maestroni di Biella and Faliero di Montevarchi.
As they are all drawn by hand, the prints are truly unique pieces.
