Ghost of Tsushima, one of the last major PS4 titles, will be released on August 20 in a special director’s edition. At the same time, the game is also available for the first time exclusively for PlayStation 5 and supports the next-generation features of the new generation of consoles. The Director’s Cut is a complete package of the original version of Ghost of Tsushima with all previous updates and additional content. Also, with “The Island of Iki”, players can look forward to an entirely new adventure for the protagonist Jin. The Director’s Cut will be released for both PS4 and PS5.
On launch day there will also be a new update for Ghost of Tsushima, including some improvements and an extended photo mode.

In this new chapter of Ghost of Tsushima, Jin travels to Iki, the neighboring island of Tsushima, to investigate rumors of a Mongol presence. However, he is involved in very personal events that produce traumatic experiences from his past.
In addition to the continuation of the story and new characters, players can expect a host of new content on the island of Iki. This includes new environments, armor for Jin and his horse, minigames, abilities, enemy types, and much more.
