Rumors that Apple is preparing new MacBook Pros on the new Apple M1X single-chip system are no longer rumors, and because of Apple itself: on the labels accompanying the video recording of the recently thunderous WWDC 2021 event. on YouTube, mentions of both the SoC itself and new products based on it.
Unfortunately, aside from confirming the existence of the MacBook Pro in the M1X, there are no further details. According to preliminary data, the company is preparing new models with mini-LED screens with a diagonal of 14 and 16 inches. The M1X central processing unit will be represented by eight high-performance and two energy-efficient cores, while the GPU will have 16 or 32 cores. Consequently, the M1X will be much more powerful than the current M1 SoC. Another important feature of the M1X is support for up to 64GB of RAM, while the M1 only supports a maximum of 16GB of RAM.
