Today, Sunday, clashes and heavy gunfire took place in the area of Umm Al-Basateen, which belongs to Naour, near Jordan’s capital Amman, among supporters of the ousted Jordanian deputy, Osama Al-Ajarmeh, and the security forces.
The Al-Arabiya / Al-Hadath correspondent explained that violent clashes broke out between the security forces and Al-Ajarma supporters, noting that the security forces fired tear gas at the protesters, signaling the presence of heavy reinforcements. security in the area.
For its part, the Public Security Agency stated that the strong deployment of security in the Naour Brigade came to avoid any violation of the law, calling on everyone to abide by the instructions. He explained that anyone who tries to reach the place of the demonstrations in the region will be arrested.
The Ministry of the Interior previously reiterated that it is not allowed to hold gatherings or events or build poetry houses in contravention of the law, given the calls to carry out today’s activities in the manner of gatherings that took place during the recent period.

These clashes came after the parliament announced the approval of a parliamentary memorandum calling for the removal of Al-Ajarmah, whose membership had been suspended, following offensive statements made by him.
Of the 119 MPs who attended the emergency session, 108 MPs voted on a parliamentary memorandum signed by 109 MPs, on the repercussions of a speech previously delivered by Al-Ajarmeh.
Yesterday Saturday, a group of supporters of the aforementioned deputy broke out in riots, burning vehicles and firing into the air, causing the injury of four public security men.
On the other hand, the gendarmerie forces fired tear gas at the group, in order to prevent the illegal concentration.
It is noteworthy that the Ajarmeh case started last month (May) when the Jordanian parliament voted to freeze its membership for one year, due to its insult to the council, its prestige, its reputation, its members and the internal system of parliament.
