– It is one of the largest clean energy projects in Egypt and the Middle East.

– The project has recently managed to introduce around 1,465 megawatts to the national electricity grid, to benefit from it.

-32 companies contributed to the solar energy project in energy production

– The project, once completed, will produce 2,050 megawatts of energy.

– The project’s output is equivalent to the energy produced by the High Dam of about 2,100 megawatts. The solar power project can be described as a “new high dam” on the land of Aswan.

- The project will allow Egypt to export energy abroad, either to the African continent or to various Arab countries

- The project includes the highest concentration of solar power plants

- Total investments in the project reach about 2 billion dollars

- The project contributed to provide nearly 10,000 direct and indirect job opportunities
