Introducing a laptop with up to 7 screens!

Date:

What do you do if you want to work more productively? That’s right, you’re buying more monitors because you can’t increase productivity with willpower alone. Even if you are working on a job that requires a laptop, there are no limits: Expanscape has created a true monster – a laptop named Aurora 7 with up to four 17.3-inch 4K resolution monitors and three seven-inch Full-HD displays. All are arranged in a rather strangely mixed portrait-landscape orientation, resulting in a massive and very comical-looking device.

Obviously, a computer with seven displays will also have flaws. One of them is weight: the prototype Aurora 7 weighs up to 12 kilograms. But what it has gained in the weight class, this beast is buying what’s inside: an Intel Core i9-9900K processor, even 64 gigabytes of DDR4 RAM and an NVidia GeForce 1060 graphics card. Such a system requires a lot of power to run, so there are two batteries inside: one, 82 Wh, supplies power to the system, while the other, even 148 Wh, powers all the displays on the device. Of course, longevity is desperate – the developers report that the battery alone will last only 140 minutes of use.

Until we start looking for their prices, we remind you that the Aurora 7 is a prototype; We will hardly ever see something similar in local stores, but unlike many other prototypes, it is actually possible to buy this one. This would require contacting their developers at Expanscape and signing a contract, but while they don’t disclose pricing on their website, they say “the pricing will reflect product development and the fact that we are still in the early stages of development.”

In other words, using the Aurora 7 would require a significant shaking of the pockets and you should be prepared for potential trouble. But what are you not going to do with exclusivity, right?
