A car from the company “Tuatara” reached a high speed of 455 km, breaking the world record for the world’s “fastest vehicle”.
And the company “SSC” announced this Wednesday, that its supercar “Tuatara”, valued at 1.9 million dollars, has become the fastest car in the world, after registering a speed of about 455 km per hour.
The car was provided with an 8-cylinder engine that generates a power of up to 1750 horsepower, knowing that the design of the vehicle took a decade and was inspired by the designs of fighter jets, according to Sky News.
This is the second time that the company says the “Tuatara” broke the record as the fastest car in the world, as the company announced last October that the supercar had recorded a speed of 532 km per hour, with a test in a desert. freeway on the outskirts of Las Vegas.
But the figure previously reached was in doubt, after car enthusiasts noted discrepancies with the speed data recorded in the Global Positioning System (GPS), which did not match the camera documenting speed, in addition to a series of other reasons.
Last week, “Tuatara” went in opposite directions at the Kennedy Space Center, setting its new “documented” speed at one hour, breaking the world record for “fastest vehicle.”
