And “Killer B” wasn’t that killer in the new city on Sunday.
Does this mean “virtual reality”?
Steelers wide receiver Juju Smith-Schuster opens his eyes Play video games Friday night.
During ~ 4-hour Fortnite session on Twitch, Smith-Schuster acknowledged his pending free agent. He made the game’s avatar wear the 19th jersey of various NFL teams such as New Orleans Saints, Green Bay Packers, Indianapolis Colts, and the Chicago Bears.

To be fair, JuJu figures were also adorned with Steelers jerseys during the video.
Smith-Schuster finished 2020 with 97 receptions and 9 of his career’s best receive touchdowns. But at just 831 yards, it gave him a career-8.6 yards low per catch.
Has it been tampered with? I don’t think it has been tampered with. Can you tamper with yourself? In the case of virtual reality, is it just “virtual tampering”?
Maybe I have already given this too much thought.
Donald is over
Los Angeles Rams star Aaron Donald lost to the Green Bay Packers in the playoffs.
He was seen crying as a bystander towards the end of the game.

Donald was dissatisfied with how little he could contribute to the team given his rib injury.
Donald played on Saturday but was only on the field 39 out of LA’s 72 defensive snaps. And when he was in the field, he wasn’t himself.
As a result, Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers was never fired. He was beaten only once. And when the Packers won 32-18 with a total of 484 yards of attack, he blew a breeze on the 108.1 passer rating.
During the regular season, Donald had a sack of 13.5 and 98 pressures to lead the league. He played 84% of Rams’ defense snaps. He was the number one reason the unit was the best in the NFL and the second in the sack when it came to passing allowed yards, allowed points, and allowed yards.
Is Browns Browns?
The Cleveland Browns fought a good fight in Kansas City during the playoff game on Sunday afternoon. However, the Chiefs continued to win 22-17, thanks to the “Browns are Browns” moment.

The Browns would have been better off without this play in the second quarter. When Rashard Higgins stretched towards the pylon, it went through the end zone. Dan Sorensen shook the ball freely.

So instead of a touchdown that could pull the Browns within 16-10, it remained 16-3. The Chiefs then took ownership and kicked a field goal to move up to 19-3.
That play caused considerable controversy in CBS’s half-time. The crew all seemed to agree that it was too punitive to pass through the end zone, which is dominated by touchback, where ownership goes to defense.
But they also wanted to see the flag thrown at Sorensen for leading with a helmet on the hit.

I agree with half of what the CBS crew was saying. It’s stinking that fumble rules through the end zone exist that way. I’ve been saying that for years.
But hey. Don’t hesitate to trash “you need to consider using a helmet”. Isn’t there enough replay as it is? Want to target replays in the NFL, like in college?

Killer B check
It wasn’t a good day for Killer B, former Steelers Le’Veon Bell and Antonio Brown.
Brown caught only once in 10 yards as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defeated New Orleans Saints 30-20. However, he appeared to be dealing with a leg injury in the second half of the second quarter. It limited his playing time.
As for Bell, he was the ghost of the Chiefs. The running back was 6 yards and had only 2 carries. And he didn’t catch the pass — with only two targets.
But they both play in the conference championship game next Sunday and are lined with Super Bowl berths.
