Toshiba has announced the new UA2B series of 4K Android TVs. The 58-inch version looks particularly attractive thanks to the £ 400 price tag. Black friday yet.
The Toshiba 58UA2B63DB is a 58-inch LED model in direct sunlight and is available for purchase now. Currys.. It is also equipped with a Freeview HD tuner and Google’s AV Smart.
The combination of the Android TV platform and Freeview Play’s catch-up service will give owners access to Google Play, Netflix, YouTube, Prime Video, BBC iPlayer, ITV Hub, All 4, My 5 and more. For other unsupported services, Chromecast is built in to meet all your casting needs.
Voice control of Google Assistant is available from the Toshiba UA2B remote control. As with previous Toshiba ranges, the TV sound is onkyo’s favor and is provided in the form of a 2 x 10W speaker setup.
Toshiba 58UA2B63DB boasts 300 individual LED dimming zones and works with Dolby Vision and HDR10. There are also four HDMI 2.0 ports, two USB, Bluetooth connections, and an optical socket and a 3.5mm audio socket.
Toshiba states that a 50-inch version of the UA2B is also in the pipeline, but the price and release date have not yet been confirmed.
