The entry of seven ranked college football teams into the field on Saturday at noon ET window marks the beginning of the best college football weekend so far in the 2020 season. For the first time in full gear from a slow build of sports, the slate feels full and lasts until Sunday on the East Coast.
The reason for the hype this weekend and the fourth week is simple. The SEC begins the season with seven game pitching teams from the league playing against each other throughout the day. In total, 19 ranked college football teams will be active on the last Saturday of September.
