Istanbul More than 40 out of 100 people play mobile games at least once a day, according to a recent survey.

Global advertising and marketing platform AdColony surveyed 1,250 people on mobile gaming and social media platforms in the EMEA region.

The survey found that 88 out of 100 people play mobile games, while 42 out of 100 play at least once a day.

Gamers have said that games have become part of their daily life. The time devoted to games increased by the day. Almost 70% of EMEA participants play more than three hours a week.

More than 80% of those surveyed say they are in a good mood while playing and 47% play to enjoy their free time.

But not only young people play. Almost 80% of adults play in Turkey. Turkish gamers prefer action adventure games, with 49.2%. Puzzles and racing games are also favorable.

The survey found that mobile game ads, which have become the largest social media tool, are beginning to morph into online stores.

While 72% of respondents said that the mobile ads they found had a positive effect on purchases, 66% said they preferred in-app purchases. (Anatolia)
